Marjorie Ann Marsh, 83, dies

Columbus, OH — Marjorie Ann Marsh, 83, of Fostoria, Ohio, and formerly of Findlay, Ohio, died March 29, 2016.

She was born in Putnam County on Nov. 25, 1932, to the late Ralph E. and Orpha M. (Winkle) Dillon. On Sept. 25, 1952, she married Standardbred driver Joe Marsh Jr., who survives along with five children, Ronald, Susan (Jay) Litchfield, Edward (Maureen), Robert (Nicole) and William (Sheana); brother, Dale Dillon; grandchildren, Deadra, Bradley, Frankie, Trisha, Ryan, Tara, Eric, Adam and Christopher; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Dillon and James Dillon; and sisters, Maxine Smith and Helen Binger.

Her husband Joe (5,882) and son Ron (5,452) were both members of the 5,000 win club as Standardbred drivers.

Mrs. Marsh owned her own beauty salon and was a homemaker. She was loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends.

A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday (March 31) at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends for two hours (11 a.m.-1 p.m.) prior to the service. Burial will follow in Knollcrest Gardens. Condolences can be sent via www.coldrencrates.com.
