Columbus, OH — Funeral services have been announced for Michigan horseman Mark Jones, 61, who died at home on July 28, 2012.

Mr. Jones trained out of Romulus and raced regularly for 33 years throughout Michigan, Ohio and Ontario. More recently, he participated in the Great Lakes Amateur Driver Association’s amateur series hosted by Hazel Park each summer. He won the championship in 2011.

Visitation is scheduled from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday (July 31) at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock (30895 W. Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, MI 48134, 734.783.2646). Visitation will continue on Wednesday (August 1) from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A Prayer Service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow.
