Mark Munroe reappointed to Ohio State Racing Commission

Columbus, OH -–- Governor John Kasich reappointed Mark Munroe to a four-year term as a member of the Ohio State Racing Commission on April 2.

His term will end on March 31, 2017.

Munroe, 62, was appointed initially by the governor on Dec. 5, 2011.

He holds two degrees from Youngstown State University including a Masters of Business Administration. He has served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army Reserve.

Munroe resides in the Youngstown area, is active in politics, and serves as the chairman of the Mahoning County Republican Party. He is executive vice president of Compco Communications, a firm involved in marketing and video production.
