Saratoga Springs, NY — Mark Of A Beast scored an easy victory in Sunday’s (Oct. 23) $16,000 Open Handicap Trot at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

Mark Of A Beast got away with the lead and hung on until the wire, trotting the mile in 1:55.4 while a half length better than Makadushin N Cheez and Bourbon Express.

Wally Hennessey drove the 5-year-old Imagistic gelding, who paid $16.20 to win, for trainer Andrew Byler and Homestead Trotters LLC.

Racing at Saratoga continues Monday (Oct. 24) with post time set for noon.
