by David Joseph, for Rosecroft Raceway

Fort Washington, MD — Rosecroft is proud to play host to an extraordinary evening Thursday (Oct. 20) when the Maryland Horse Council presents its Evening at the Races; a fun evening of harness racing, a behind-the-scenes tour of the track, a scrumptious dinner overlooking the finish line, and guest speakers.

Evening at the Races begins at 6 p.m.

Appetizers and a special Finish Line Buffet will be served in Rosecroft’s dining room with an unsurpassed look at the pacers and trotters. The group will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of Rosecroft and a group picture in Rosecroft’s historic winner’s circle.

Evening at the Races will also present several guest speakers, including Maryland native and one of North America’s leading harness drivers Corey Callahan, Maryland Jockey Club President and General Manager Sal Sinatra, respected Mid-Atlantic journalist Ted Black, and Anthony MacDonald, creator of thestable.ca, which offers an affordable way to boost ownership in harness racing.

Maryland House Council members can purchase individual tickets for $35. Non-member tickets are $50.

Tickets can be purchased online at this link.

Sponsors include B&D Builders, Equiery, MidAtlantic Farm Credit, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Agape Pet Services, Marbidco and the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association.
