Plainville, MA — The 2015 Massachusetts Sire Stakes get underway at Plainridge Park next week and all participants should be aware of the following information.

Legs will be held on Monday (Sept. 28), Monday (Oct. 5) and Monday (Oct. 12). The finals will be on Monday (Oct. 19).

All draws for Mondays are conducted on Thursdays and the entry box closes at 9 a.m. Plainridge Park encourages the use of the USTA’s online entry system.

The base purse for each leg will be $10,000 and the starting fee for each leg is $200. The base purse for each final will be $40,000 and the starting fee for each final is $800.

Trainers should note that qualifying times for 2015 are as follows:

• 2-year-old trotters–2:09
• 2-year-old pacers–2:07
• 3-year-old trotters–2:07
• 3-year-old pacers–2:05

Horses must have a clean line meeting qualifying standards within 30 days of each individual race.
