Max Taubert, 78, dies

Columbus, OH — Max Alford Taubert, 78, of West Milton, Ohio, died April 30, 2012, at Cypress Pointe, Englewood.

He was born August 4, 1933 in Jamestown, Tenn.

Mr. Taubert was retired from General Motors after 33 years of service as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the Moose and the USTA, and was a longtime owner of Standardbreds.

He is survived by his sons, Donald (Cheryl) and Ronald (Jackie); eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Billy; and sisters, Deanna Peavyhouse and Doris Beaty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Adina (Reagan); and wife, Linda (Blue).

A memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday (May 6) at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with Pastor Michael Severt officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Hale-Sarver.

The family would like to thank Cypress Pointe Staff and Max’s sister Deanna for all their special care and concern.
