Meadowlands look ahead to Pace weekend

East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands will present its title stake, the $600,000 Meadowlands Pace final, as part of “The Greatest Party in Harness Racing” card worth over $2.5 million in purses on Saturday (July 16).

The races will again be carried live on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” broadcast from 8-11 p.m. on Fox Sports 2.

The supporting Grand Circuit stakes include the Pace’s filly companion Mistletoe Shalee, the Hambletonian Maturity 4-year-old trot, Miss Versatility, Hambletonian preview stakes the Stanley Dancer and Del Miller Memorials and the WR Haughton and Dorothy Haughton Memorial FFA stakes.

The popular Kindergarten series for 2-year-olds gets underway this Friday as those freshman fillies and colts competing in the New Jersey Sires Stakes have an open week before their rich finals on July 22. NJSS points toward the final are up on the web.

The box for this weekend’s draw closes Tuesday morning (July 12) at 9 a.m.
