Meadowlands Pick Six carryover reaches $76,000

East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands Pick Six boasts an eight-day carryover pool of $76,566 heading into Thursday night’s (April 2) card.

Thursday’s Pick Six begins in the fourth race and includes the $71,400 Jersey Girls Final for filly and mare pacers. Don’t Deny Me bids for her fourth straight win and a series sweep as the 9-5 morning line favorite from post one in the third leg of the wager, race six. She is coupled in the wagering with her stablemate Sand Pleasure, who is also trained by Ken Rucker. Post time is 7:00 p.m. for the 10-race card.

While no one had all six winners, the Meadowlands Pick Four returned $13,581 on Wednesday night. The wager has averaged a $5,000 return through the first three months of racing in 2009, with a record $55,466 payoff last Wednesday, March 25. Spanning races six through nine, the Pick Four features a low 15 percent takeout and guaranteed pools ($25,000 Wednesday through Friday, $50,000 Saturday).
