East Rutherford, NJ — The condition sheet is out for next week at The Meadowlands.

While it is Hambletonian weekend and there are a number of stakes, the hope is to have 12 races on Friday and 16 on Saturday so there will be plenty of opportunity to race overnight horses.

There are 2-year-old non-winners of 2 pari-mutuel overnight races for all divisions to go on Friday and a $25,000 Open Trot and Pace written for Saturday. With the top older horses racing in the stakes, these races should provide a good spot for the Open types to show their stuff on the big day.

Hambletonian Day is a showcase for the sport on its greatest stage.

The races will be simulcast internationally as well as televised on CBS Sports Network from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
