Meadowlands to award two WHHC spots on Saturday

East Rutherford, NJ — Two coveted berths to the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship will be on the line this Saturday (March 19) in a qualifying tournament hosted by the Meadowlands.

The qualifier features a $200 buy-in that includes a $100 entry fee and a $100 bankroll. Contestants are required to bet a minimum of 10 Meadowlands live races with a minimum $10 wager per race. There is no maximum wager per race. Only win, place, show wagers will be allowed and only one horse per race can be selected. Entry fee includes a live racing program, Harness Eye, and food voucher.

The top two finishers in the qualifier will receive seats to the $50,000 WHHC Final to be held on April 30 at the Meadowlands. In addition, contestants keep all pari-mutuel earnings accumulated during the contest plus a $10,000 prize pool will be paid out to the top 10 finishers (based on 100 entries).

Walk-up registration will be available from 6–7 p.m. on the date of the contest. Advance registration can be mailed to the Meadowlands and must be received by the end of business on Friday.
