Meadowlands to host handicapping tournament on Dec. 4

East Rutherford, NJ — Registration is open for Meadowlands Racetrack’s National Harness Handicapping Championship qualifier on Saturday, Dec. 4.
The prize pool is estimated at $12,000, with the top three or more finishers expected to qualify for the National Harness Handicapping Championship. Payouts are to the Top 10 and players keep all pari-mutuel winnings. Prizes are based on 120 entrants and will be adjusted according to the actual number of entries.
The total cost to enter the Dec. 4 qualifier is $180 ($100 non-refundable entry fee plus required $80 betting card purchase). The contest format requires players to bet at least eight Meadowlands races, with a $10 minimum/$100 maximum bet per race. There is no entry limit.
Mail-in registrations are due Friday, Dec. 3. Walk-up entries will be taken between 5 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. The entry form and complete contest rules are available at MeadowlandsRacetrack.com.
