Washington, PA — Meadows Racing, home of America’s best daytime harness racing, announced today more than a dozen family-friendly events will be held at the track this year. All this as the track undergoes a rebrand, launches a strategic partnership and debuts a new website.

The events, rebrand, advertising and website represent an investment in advancing the vision for the organization to be a top-of-mind choice for fans and their families as the perfect way to spend a day.

Unlike many other tracks in the United States, Meadows Racing conducts racing year round, with nearly 200 days of the year featuring live harness racing. Now, Meadows Racing encourages you to “Experience The Whoa!” in a series of new ads launching this month.

The website, www.meadowsracing.net, highlights family-friendly events at the track including Triple Crown celebrations, a Food Truck Festival and Corks & Kegs Weekend. It also offers a full racing calendar, betting help and details about other attractions along Racetrack Road.

This year, Meadows Racing is an official partner of the Pittsburgh Penguins. This gives the organization visibility with Pittsburgh sports fans in all the places they connect with Penguins news and highlights. Pittsburgh Sportscaster Paul Alexander is the voice of the new campaign.

“The change is more than a new look,” said Dawnelle Mock, Director of Marketing for the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association. “It highlights our commitment to expanding our fan base and giving those fans and their families a fantastic experience when they come to the track.”

The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is a non-profit, trade association of owners, trainers, and drivers of Standardbred horses racing at The Meadows, near Washington, Pa.

At Meadows Racing you will see Standardbred horses being raced by drivers (not jockeys) in a race bike. Meadows Racing is home to the winningest driver in harness racing history, Dave Palone, and also just congratulated driver Aaron Merriman on his 11,000th win.
