Washington, PA — On Tuesday (May 20), The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer two pool guarantees — $20,000 for the Pick 4, $7,500 for the Pick-5 — as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.

While The Meadows regularly guarantees a $5,000 pool for its Monday and Tuesday Pick-4 wagers, the track enriched the guarantee after no one successfully picked Monday’s Pick-4, resulting in a $4,028.14 carryover.

A two-day Pick-5 carryover of $2,034.80 prompted the addition of the “instant” Pick-5 guarantee.

Minimum wager for the Pick-4 (races four-seven) and the Pick-5 (races 11-15) is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50 cent level must bet at least four tickets.
