Columbus, OH — Melvin (Mel) Gilbert, 77, died Nov. 28, 2017, due to heart failure.

He loved racing horses and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; and sons, Craig (Karen) and Brian (Maria). He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim; mother, Wilma; and father, Henry.
