Monticello, NY — Mike Merton finished the 2020 season on a high note. In the first week of the 2021 season, he picked up right where he left off and led all drivers with four winners on the Thursday (Jan. 7) card at Monticello Raceway.

Merton scored with CC Big Boy Sam (1:59.1, $10.00), Golden Gesture (1:59.4, $3.20), Beach Blast (2:01.3, $12.00) and OK Icon (2:00.3, $3.00).

Kyle DiBenedetto also drove two winners on the afternoon.
