Metropolitan to stand in Pennsylvania

New Freedom, PA — Metropolitan, a 2001 son of The Panderosa, will stand at stud in Pennsylvania at Nandi Farms in New Freedom for the 2007 season.

Metropolitan is out of the Artsplace mare Tallulah Belle p,3,1:54f ($204,468).

Metropolitan won the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Championship at The Meadows in track and stakes record time at 2-years-old.

As a 3-year-old, he won the Messenger, Burlington and Oliver Wendell Holmes, was second in the Breeders Crown elimination and North America Cup final, and third in finals of the Little Brown Jug and Meadowlands Pace. He took a mark of 1:50.1 with earnings of $983,070 at 2- and 3.

He will stand for a stud fee of $4,000.
