Lebanon, OH — Miami Valley Raceway hopes to fill a Valentine’s Day (Monday, Feb. 14) event for female drivers and pacing fillies and mares.

The winning driver will receive a gift certificate for dinner for two in the upscale Cin City Steak & Seafood Restaurant, just off the Miami Valley casino floor, along with a dozen red roses in the winner’s circle.

Drivers must possess either an ‘A’ or ‘P’ (provisional) license from the United States Trotting Association, as well as a current Ohio State Racing Commission license.

Proposed conditions for the $10,000 Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Pace are: Mares that raced for a purse of $7,500 or less in their last start. Participating drivers are asked to try and secure their own mount, but those who cannot may be able to get help from the race office.
