Hazel Park, MI — Nine eager drivers will crowd into the gate for Monday’s (May 23) next GLADA race at Hazel Park.

Newcomers will mix with seasoned competitors for the win and the photo to prove it. What is always a sure thing is that the race will be exciting, competitive, and even dramatic.

Two-time winner Mark Jones is back with a new horse, Thrill Of Victory, to face the experienced challenge of Smokin Steven with Steve Oldford in the two hole; Donker Marie with Kara Sue Buxton in post eight; Benns Legacy with Mike Sweeney in the one hole; and Mike Golden with Asti Asti in the nine hole. Jones leaves from the middle of the pack in the five hole and a fluid dynamic will apply this week with new challengers and different horses.

Long time trainer Larry McCarty trains and steers Little Ms Sunshine from the three hole, followed out by Hallway To Heaven driven by trainer-driver Bob Barella in the four hole. Jack Pasko, former Billings and amateur competitor, will drive S F Fiesta from the six hole. “Doc” Michael Caston leaves with R M Shy from the seven hole.

The new mix of drivers and trotters is sure to provide excitement, entertainment, and furious competition. Race 6 will be the place to watch. Stay tuned for the results.
