Hazel Park, MI — A new mix of regular and first time drivers will take to the Hazel Park track in race 3 on Monday’s Memorial Day card at Hazel Park.

Monday’s race has nine drivers, including Mark Jones, a two time winner and Larry McCarty who won last week. Jones will drive Classic Spur from the 9 hole, his horse for his two wins and McCarty will steer Little Ms Sunshine, last week’s winner, who will leave from the 4 hole. Mike Golden will rev up his horse, Asti Asti, out of the one hole and Hallway to Heaven for Bob Barella will step out from the 3 hole.

Steve Oldford, club president, will show off Smokin Steven’s speed as he has in all the races, leaving from the 6 hole, followed by Mike “Doc” Caston driving R M Shy from the 7 hole. Mike Sweeney leaves from the 8 hole with his trotter Benns Legacy.

Two new contestants have joined this week’s race. Patricia Miller, veteran Billings driver, will roll out of the 2 hole with her own Hay Look Out, and Rory Moore trains and drives his trotter Perfect Scam from the 5 hole.
