Owned by George and Tina Dennis, Teton Sunset was a wire-to-wire winner and held off all comers in his first win of the year, giving Cole the milestone win aboard the Joe Columbo-trainee. Cole, 42, has been among the leading drivers on the Delaware circuit for the past 10 years and won a driving title at Harrington in 2018.

In the $20,000 Open feature for pacers, Keep On Rocking A ($7.40, Corey Callahan) was one of  three winners on the card for Callahan, who used a ground-saving trip to edge out his rivals in a 1:52.2 win over Sprocket and Starship. Trained by Chris Scicluna, “Rocking” recorded his 5th win of the year. Allan Davis also had a driving triple.

Montrell Teague had a driving double.
