London, ON — Mike Whelan will be the special guest of Western Fair Today this Thursday afternoon (Nov. 11). The pre-game show begins at 3:05 p.m. and airs prior to live racing which gets underway at 3:35 p.m. (EST).

Whelan, who will have drives in all but one of the 12 races Thursday, is on pace to easily surpass last season’s career-best total of 164 wins. He currently sits with 154 and has more than a month and a half to go in the racing season.

He has worked his way near the top of the Western Fair standings and had a good start to the week with two wins on Monday followed up by a driving triple on Tuesday.

Western Fair is now operating on its five-day a week schedule for the balance of 2010 with racing every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 3:35 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:05 p.m. For more details, visit www.westernfair.com.
