Climate Hanover is trained by Milby for longtime owner Irwin Samelman.

Milby has had an outstanding start to the Rosecroft Spring meet and is working towards the driving title. He rounded out the night with a total of five driving wins and two training wins.

Milby is a third generation horseman, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. He started his driving career at Rosecroft Raceway in 1998 and has been a regular fixture in Maryland. Milby has five driving titles under his belt; three from Rosecroft Raceway and two from Ocean Downs. In 2007, Milby captured driving titles at both Ocean Downs and Rosecroft.

“Winning my 1,500th race at Rosecroft felt good,” said Milby. “It’s where I started and it is great to be able to come back here and be doing well. I hope Rosecroft and Maryland Standardbred racing are turning around. I would love to continue to compete in my home state.”
