Ft. Washington, MD — Driver Frank Milby won four races on Tuesday night (Dec. 13) at Rosecroft Raceway. Among his scores was the featured $12,000 Maryland Special with Kindofabigdeal.

The field of six was only separated by four lengths through three-quarters of a mile and Milby was sandwiched between Get Outta Eyre N who was three-wide and Regulus N on the rail. As the foe on his outside finally gave way after a long journey, Milby sprung three-wide off the final turn and copped the top prize in 1:53.1. The 5-year old son of No Pan Intended is owned and trained by Jeff Clark. JW Renegade (John Mackinnon), who was four-wide on the final turn, was second. Hide Me Away (Jared Moyer) was third.

Driver Roger Plante won three races to close within one of Russell Foster headed into Thursday night’s final racing card. Trainer Joe Offutt had three wins and moved within one of Brian Burton and Ken Schlotzhauer who are tied in the training standings with 17 wins each.

Basil Sapienza’s Diamondkeeper was honored as Rosecroft Horse of the Meet. The son of Pine Valley has 23 wins in the last two years.
