Ft. Washington, MD — Frank Milby won five races on the Tuesday night (Nov. 10) card at Rosecroft Raceway, giving him a meet leading 37 for the Fall meet.

Milby, the defending dash champion, took the co-featured Open Pace with a wire-to-wire score with Hot Art, who has now won four straight races for his breeders, the Baxter Stables, and trainer John Baxter. The 6-year old son of Art Major scored in 1:53.4 over the track labeled ‘good.’ Varsity Hanover (Donald Dancer) was second and Fancy Colt (Roger Plante) was third.

Brilliance Hanover, an ultra consistent, but overlooked mare, scored a 26-1 upset in the Open Trot. Timmy Offutt secured a pocket trip for the 7-year old mare by SJ’s Caviar and when pacesetting Beep Beep Bye Bye faded heading into the final turn, Offutt was able to grab the lead and then hold off fast closing All Shoes On Deck (Mike Rossi) and Windsong Ingenius (Russell Foster) who were both gapped out after the half by a stopping Semper Fit.

Foster scored two wins on the night and trainer Ken Schlotzhauer posted a training double.
