Minnesota Commission dismisses request to revoke gambling license at Running Aces

Columbus, OH — According to a story on the kstp.com website, the Minnesota Racing Commission has dismissed a request to revoke the gambling license at Running Aces Harness Park.

On a 5-4 vote, the Commissioners dismissed the request by Thoroughbred race horse owners at Canterbury Park to revoke Running Aces’ license. The decision will allow the track to open with live racing on June 1.

The kstp.com story reported that the owners said Running Aces stopped making about $400,000 in purse contributions last August in violation of their gambling license.
