Minor shuffling in this week’s Poll

Freehold, NJ — There was minor shuffling in the Top 10 of this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, where Modern Family became the only newcomer in the upper tier.
Five-year-old male trotter Modern Family won the inaugural Charlie Hill Memorial at Scioto Downs in a track-record-equaling 1:52.2 on Saturday. He moved into the No. 9 spot in this week’s rankings.
Sebastian K, who was idle, and Perfect Alliance remained 1-2 in the poll. Perfect Alliance picked up her 11th win in 11 races this year with a track-record 1:51.4 victory in her elimination for the Armbro Flight Stakes at Mohawk.
Sweet Lou, also idle, improved from No. 5 to third in the rankings as Somwherovrarainbow and Market Share slipped. Trixton, who won his elimination for the Goodtimes Stakes, moved into a tie with Somwherovrarainbow for fourth. Somwherovrarainbow, who was third, finished second in her elim for the Roses Are Red.
