Miss Janetzky goes for fourth straight win

Pompano Beach, FL — Miss Janetzky, the mare that likes to beat her male rivals, goes for her fourth straight win on Wednesday at Pompano Park in the fourth race co-featured trot.

The seven-year-old mare by T W Music Man is trained by Jim Mattison and will be driven by Bruce Ranger from the outside in post eight. In her last three starts, Miss Janetzky has started from outside posts and won each week against male competition, which is somewhat of a rarity in horse racing. On the season, Miss Janetzky has won four of her last five starts for owner Lynn Fry of Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania.

There are four return winners in the sixth race co-featured trot. Signal Hill Flyer (post three) is the 5-2 morning line favorite and has won two of his last three starts. Chili Vanili (post four) goes for his third straight win and two newcomers to Pompano Park, Australian import Mighty Maori A (post one) makes his USA debut and Little Man Fred (post five) makes his Pompano Park debut.
