Mock to direct social media for MSOA

from The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association

Washington, PA — The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is pleased to announce that Dawnelle Mock has joined the association as director of social media.

A 2016 graduate of Youngstown State University, Mock earned a degree in Marketing Management. This past summer, she interned with the marketing department at The Meadowlands after spending the previous two summers working with the MSOA as a marketing assistant.

The Somerset, Pa., native has been around harness racing her entire life. Her parents, Daniel and Lisa Mock, are Standardbred owners, and her father has also trained. Her sister, Dana Kahrig, is a trainer at The Meadows.

Dawnelle is a U.S. Trotting Association member and active horse owner.

“I’m very excited to be starting this new venture,” she said. “I’m able to use my degree while helping to promote the sport that I love.”

Mock has taken the reins of the MSOA’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and earlier this week created a new MSOA Snapchat account.

Those wishing to connect with Mock can reach her at msoasocialmedia@outlook.com or via the MSOA’s social media accounts.
