Campbellville, ON — Racing fans returned to Mohawk Thursday night, under partly cloudy skies, for its opening 10-race program.

With a substantial audience on site, the Campbellville oval saw an increase in its opening day handle. Thursday’s handle was $972,076, which is greater than last year’s opening handle of $874,341.

Woodbine Entertainment Group’s feature wager of the night, the $50,000 guaranteed pool early Pick-4, had a total pool of $59,038.
