Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway’s 2010 racing season commences on Monday, January 4, and will continue on a four-day-a-week basis throughout the month with live harness action on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All race cards will be in the afternoon with post times at 12:25 p.m.

On Monday, January 18, the Raceway will present its 10th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Pace, which showcases the talents of African-American drivers.

Racing will continue all season long with post times varying during certain times of the year. In all, The Mighty M will offer 210 racing dates during the 2010 campaign.

Simulcast wagering on thoroughbreds — as well as some other harness tracks — will be available during the afternoons while the evenings will largely be devoted to harness simulcasts.

And, of course, there’s also year-round gaming at the Monticello Casino and Raceway.
