Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway has canceled its scheduled qualifying races on Thursday (Dec. 27) because of a pending snowstorm. However, live racing will continue as scheduled with first post at 12:25 p.m.

“Although the amount of snow we will receive varies greatly with the temperature hovering around freezing, still we have canceled our qualifiers so we can have the racetrack set to go for our pari-mutuel card,” explained Eric Warner, the track’s director of racing.

Qualifiers will go as scheduled next Wednesday (Jan. 2).
