Monticello, NY — With the Mighty M’s top drivers Stephane Bouchard and Larry Stalbaum leading the way, a group of local reinsmen will donate their driving percentages from three races on the Friday (Dec. 22) card to a local charity and their total will be matched by Monticello Gaming and Raceway.

The recipient of the funds will again be the Love and Hope for the Children Foundation in Monticello, New York, which will use the money to buy holiday presents for the lesser fortunate children in the area.

“This is the third consecutive year that the drivers and the raceway will help make the holidays brighter for many children who would otherwise not know the joy of the season,” said Daisy Ellis, president of the Love and Hope for the Children Foundation. “It’s really a wonderful thing that they do.”

Besides Bouchard and Stalbaum, other drivers who will donate their percentages include: Cedric Washington, Mike Merton, Jimmy Devaux, Greg Merton, Steve Brown, Greg Grismore, Greg Decker, Jr., Mike Forte, Matt Romano, Bruce Aldrich, Jr., Mark Beckwith, Jimmy Marohn and Claude Huckabone III.

The fifth, ninth and tenth races on the Friday card at Monticello Raceway are the ones in which the donations will be accrued from.

The driver’s percentages will total $565 and with the match by the Raceway, the Love and Hope for the Children Foundation will be the recipient of $1,130.
