Dover, DE — Morairtime put a select field of trotters to sleep in the featured $16,000 Winners-Over Trot on Tuesday (Nov. 2) at Dover Downs.

Jack Parker Jr. used Morairtime’s early speed from post two to secure the lead, rating fractions of :28.3, :57.3 and 1:26.1. Turning for home, the 5-year-old daughter of Airzoom Lindy extended her advantage, winning by 2-3/4 lengths in 1:55 over a sloppy track. Swansea (Tim Tetrick) could not gain on the leader from the pocket, but narrowly held second over Northern Express (Russell Foster).

Tim Tetrick and Allan Davis drove three winners apiece.

Open mares are in the spotlight Wednesday (Nov. 3), as Soho Burning Love A takes on Shes Pukka N, Scuola Hanover and three others in the $25,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap. There will also be a Pentafecta carryover of $1,653 on Wednesday’s card. Thursday’s (Nov. 4) card features four Matron Stakes for 2-year-olds. Post time both days is 4:30 p.m.
