Toronto, ON — Nine 3-year-old colt pacers and ten 3-year-old colt trotters were entered Tuesday (Oct. 4) for the OSS Gold eliminations scheduled to be contested on Saturday (Oct. 8) at Woodbine Racetrack.

The OSS rules state that if there are not more horses entered in the elimination than can compete in the final, the elimination will be cancelled and all horses will be considered declared directly into the final to be held the following week.

Therefore, the Gold eliminations for 3-year-old colt pacers and 3-year-old colt trotters scheduled for (Oct. 8) at Woodbine Racetrack are cancelled. The C$40,000 purse for the Gold eliminations will be added to the regular purse for each final, making a total Gold final purse for each of these events of C$170,000.

The Gold finals will be held on Saturday (Oct. 15) as scheduled and the post positions will be drawn on Saturday (Oct. 8), when the finals would normally have been drawn.

According to OSS rules concerning the points for the Super Final, the 100 points from each cancelled elimination will be distributed equally between the horses that entered each event.

The field for the 3-year-old colt pace final (in alphabetical order): Bullet Speed, Camaes Fellow, Cam B Zipper, Dr Dew, Machal Jackson, Mach Of Ballykeel, Mystician, Prodigal Seelster and Watermelonwine.

The field for the 3-year-old colt trot final (in alphabetical order): Daylon Magician, Delcrest Julian, Frill Seeker, Imperial Count, Incredable Frank, Mr Joe Six Pack, Over And Out, Sim Brown, Tamarind and Traverse Seelster.
