Morning Shadow gets lightning lane win in Meadows feature

Washington, PA – Shuffled to fourth after taking the early lead, Morning Shadow poured through the Lightning Lane to capture Wednesday’s (June 5) feature at The Meadows, an $11,800 Conditioned Pace for fillies and mares.

JK Kissntell took the point from Morning Shadow, thwarting a number of challengers but never enjoying a breather. Morning Shadow and Dave Palone pounced on her in the lane and scored in 1:56, a head better than Eleanor Jean. Sewonandsewforth earned show.
