Movin’ On Up wins Harrington feature, Morgan honored

Harrington, DE — David Hamm and Rodney Long’s Movin’ On Up ($5.20, Montrell Teague) notched his sixth win of the season Monday (April 25) with a wire-to-wire win in 1:52.1 in the $20,000 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway.

The 7-year-old Bettor’s Delight gelding has enjoyed a banner season with $112,780 earned.

Balder Son was second with Mcboogity third.

Teague also piloted Slick Tony ($4.80) to victory in the sub-featured $15,000 conditioned pace in 1:51.2, the evening’s fastest race.

Driver Tony Morgan was recognized after the seventh race for his 17,000th career win, which he earned Sunday at Harrah’s Philadelphia aboard Commander Hill. It didn’t take long for Morgan to start the next countdown as he notched his 17,001st win in the fifth race aboard Bodega Bay ($11.40).

Morgan has enjoyed a decorated career and trails only Dave Palone for most North American wins all-time. Morgan has the single program record at Harrington for most wins on a card with nine and has won seven or more races here a record 12 times.

Art Stafford Jr. had thee wins on the card. Ross Wolfenden had a double.
