MSOA donation to Lebanon horsemen tops $42,000

Meadow Lands, PA — The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is pleased to announce that the horsemen of The Meadows, in conjunction with track management, have collected over $42,000 to benefit those at Lebanon Raceway in Ohio following a tragic fire there earlier this month.

The MSOA donated its commission from a recent race, and that figure was matched not only by the racetrack, but also by local horseowner Francis Azur. That total was then augmented by other private donations from owners, trainers, drivers and caretakers at the track.

“What an amazing response from our horsemen,” said MSOA President Richard Gillock. “I can’t thank them enough for what they were able to accomplish. Hopefully this will make the holiday a little brighter for the horsemen at Lebanon.”
