Washington, PA — “Wearing o’ the green” is a popular St. Patrick’s Day tradition, and if you wear green at The Meadows on Tuesday (March 17), you’ll be a winner before you ever place a wager.

That’s because the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association will present a free race program to all patrons wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day. The holiday card will feature other MSOA-sponsored events, including:

• A raffle for a free berth in The Meadows Live Bankroll Handicapping Contest on March 20;

• A drawing for a $50 betting voucher each time a driver with green in his colors wins a race. Among notable Meadows-based drivers wearing green are Mike Wilder, Wilbur Yoder, Kyle Bolon, Aaron Johnston and Shawn Johnston.
