Pompano Beach, FL — Several upsets were featured on Saturday night (Jan. 2) at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, leaving both the 50-cent Pick-5 and 50-cent Pick-4 unscathed.

The 50-cent Pick-5 will feature a $1,980 carryover into Sunday night (Jan. 3), with track officials placing an instant guarantee of $10,000 on the total Pick-5 pool. The Pick 5 is a nightly wager covering races one–five.

The 50-cent Pick-4 will offer its very first carryover of the season, with a healthy $4,973 awaiting fans on Sunday evening. Track officials have placed an instant guarantee of $30,000 on the total Pick-4 pool. The Pick-4 is a nightly wager covering races six–nine, and features an industry low takeout of only 12 percent.

Last, but not least, a competitive 10-horse event in the finale (race 11) will offer a $3,437 carryover in the 20-cent Jackpot Hi-Five.

Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park on a five-night per week schedule, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
