My Cousin Eileen earns lifetime mark in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — My Cousin Eileen poured it on first over and drew off late to capture Thursday’s (June 10) feature at The Meadows, a $9,800 conditioned trot.

The 6-5 favorite, My Cousin Eileen, was third when Ronnie Wrenn Jr. tipped her off the cones. The 4-year-old daughter of Uncle Peter and Renees Pockets gobbled up the leaders and romped home in 1:54.4, the fastest win of her career. Upfront Stone was second, 4-1/2 lengths back, while 62-1 long shot Mr Cornbread rallied for show.
