Myrna Sholty, 74, dies

Lexington, KY — Myrna Sholty, 74, the widow of Hall of Famer George F. Sholty, died Dec. 19, 2013, in Lexington, Ky., after battling cancer.

Ms. Sholty was actively involved in harness racing throughout her late husband’s career, and following his passing she continued to be involved, breeding notable performers Power To Charm 3,1:53.1 ($664,880) and Whata Winner 3,1:55 ($642,844).
