New addition to Harness Racing Museum’s Stallion Auction

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — Alan J. Leavitt, president and general manager of Walnut Hall Limited and a member of the Harness Racing Hall of Fame class of 2008, has generously donated breedings to the first season stallion Groton Hall. They are available, for a limited time, for a non-refundable $250 donation to The Harness Racing Museum.

Will Groton Hall (a Conway Hall-Garbo Hall-Lindy Lane foal of 2006) be a new phenom? Leavitt, whose prowess in judging just the right pinch of this, that and the other has produced great racehorses and even greater stallions that include Jate Lobell (sire of the winners of over $100 million), Garland Lobell (sire of the winners of over $50 million), Angus Hall ($46 million), Andover Hall ($23 million), Cantab Hall ($8 million), Broadway Hall ($9 million), and Groton Hall’s sire Conway Hall who, to date, has sired the winners of $37 million.

With those stats and his 2×4 cross to Amour Angus, the greatest producer of outstanding trotting sires in history, the chances of striking gold with Groton Hall and the right mare should be a sure bet!

We invite all owners of mares who still have availability on their dance card to call Joanne Young, the Museum’s director of development, at 845.294.6330 or e-mail development@harnessmuseum.com to book to the up and coming sire of distinction and winning ways, Groton Hall.

The breeding fee is an affordable $250 non-refundable donation to harness racing’s showcase of distinction, The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame. Book now and take advantage of this great opportunity to breed your mare royally and participate in a generous opportunity provided by Walnut Hall Limited.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is located at 240 Main Street in Goshen, New York and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour 4 p.m.) Thanks to USTA support the Museum is currently offering free admission for walk-in visitors and $4.00/person for group docent-guided tours.
