New additions for Museum’s breeding auction

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The Harness Racing Museum is pleased to announce five additional stallions added to the outstanding roster for the 2008 stallion breeding auction. They are Bettor’s Delight, Riverboat King, Serious Hanover, Slade Hanover and Super Vintage.

Bettor’s Delight, sire of the Dan Patch 3-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year Southwind Tempo and Riverboat King highlight the pacing sires available in the Empire State that include Lislea, Misfit, Noble Ability, Totally Western, Village Jove and Whelan Willie.

Malabar Man, 1997 Hambletonian and Breeders Crown winner, and recently elected to the Living Horse Hall of Fame, is joined in New York by trotting stallions A Go Go Lauxmont, Diamond Goal, Giant Hit, Majestic Victory, Plesac and first year stallion RC Royalty.

A breeding to Camluck, North America’s Leading moneywinning sire and a 2008 inductee to the Living Horse Hall of Fame, is offered. Camluck stands in Ontario and is joined by world champion Million Dollar Cam.

The Garden State of New Jersey offers Hall of Famers Cam’s Card Shark and Matt’s Scooter along with Red River Hanover and trotting sire Revenue.

Neighboring Pennsylvania offers pacing mare introductions to Allamerican Native, Arturo, Magical Mike and Slade Hanover. Sires with trotting pedigrees are world champion American Winner, Malabar Millennium and Super Vintage.

The state of Delaware offers Cams Fortune, Headmaster and Powerful Toy. Serious Hanover stands in Maine. Like A Prayer and Valley Victor join Hall of Famer Jate Lobell in Kentucky. Coventry tops the list of trotting stallions standing in Michigan with Terminator P and pacing’s Cheyenne Rei. Ohio offers Cam’s Magic Trick and Memphis Flash. The outstanding Illinois sire Richess Hanover is joined by Goalie Jeff in that state.

Income raised by the auction, over $265,000 since 1999, supports the Museum’s General Operating Fund. It helps to ensure quality services, special exhibitions, traveling exhibits, promotional support and educational programming for children and adults. Our efforts strengthen harness racing’s image worldwide and encourage the interest of new owners and fans, while keeping alive the good memories and great times of the men, women and horses who have made the sport so special!
