Plainville, MA — The New England Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association has announced the chapter’s award winners for 2012.

The winners will be honored at a banquet to be held on Sunday (October 21) at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Marlborough, Mass. Cocktails will be at 4 p.m. followed by the dinner at 5 p.m. Special room rates ($89.00) are available with reservations due by Sept. 1.

The award winners are as follows:

Hall of Fame inductees: Nathaniel Currier and Jim Winske
Horse Hall of Fame inductees: Cheviot, Kerogen, My Bill Forward and Nelson
Presidents Award: Al Broadbent
Lifetime Achievement Award: Paul Fontaine Esq.
Joseph A. Vaccaro Memorial Award: Dave McDuffee
Iron Person Award: Bonnie Rush
Recognition Award Winners: Francis Azur, Karen Blair, Horse Talk harnesslink.com, Paul Magan Atty., Michael McLaughlin, USTA
