New Florida exhibit features Ben White

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the honoring of one of its Hall of Fame Immortals, Benjamin White, by Orlando, Fla.’s Orange County Regional History Center.

Ben White was a four-time Hambletonian and seven-time Kentucky Futurity winner.

A four-time Hambletonian and seven-time Kentucky Futurity winner, Ben White is undoubtedly one of the most noteworthy harness racing champions in the history of the sport. His extraordinary career is to be remembered through the Historical Society’s new permanent exhibit “Destination Florida: Tourism before Disney,” which is now on display at the Orange County Regional History Center, 65 East Central Blvd., Orlando, FL.

In support of this exhibit, The Harness Racing Museum has loaned Mr. White’s driving cap and other promotional materials to the History Center. They will remain on exhibit until June 2009.
