Fraserville, ON — With the recent changes at Kawartha Downs, the track has hired a new General Manager to oversee operations.

Orazio Valente, President of the Courtice Group, took on the GM responsibilities two weeks ago and has already made some positive changes at the Fraserville, Ontario, racetrack. Kawartha Downs will host 18 race cards this season, every Saturday night from May 27 to Sept. 30 (except Sept. 16).

Orazio will be barbequing hot dogs for patrons at the track on Saturday (June 17) and looks forward to meeting many of the track’s loyal and new patrons and hearing their suggestions and feedback.

Saturday night’s card at Kawartha has something special with two miniature horse races which will be presented after races two and four. In addition fans will have the chance to win a trip around the track thanks to Hands On Horses. Post time is 7 p.m.
