Cumberland, ME — First Tracks Cumberland is pleased to announce the addition of two new low takeout wagers beginning on opening day, Friday (April 8).

Joining the ranks of our reduced 16 percent takeout Pick-4 and Pick-5 will be a daily Pick-6 and a Hi Five (Pentafecta).  Both new wagers are non-jackpot, and both carry a low base wager 20 cents.

The Pick-6 will pay out at a 75/25 percent level, 75 percent carryover if there are no perfect tickets. The Hi Five will carryover 100 percent if no one selects the first five correctly. The Pick-6 will be on races 3-8, with the daily Hi Five being the final race on the card.

Post time for the Spring/Summer meet is set for 3 p.m. on both Fridays and Saturdays, with the extended pari-mutuel meeting racing each weekend through July 23.

Qualifiers will be held once a week on Saturdays at 2 p.m., before the start of the pari-mutuel card.
