Wilkes-Barre, PA — Dont Think Twice A rallied up the Pocono Pike to take $21,500 featured pace for mares on the Tuesday (Sept. 24) twilight card at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono in a new mark of 1:51.1.

Despite an absence from the races of 18 days, the Armbro Operative mare started well to land in the pocket spot behind pacesetting Baron Remy through fractions of :27.1, :55.4 and 1:23.4. Driver Anthony Napolitano pulled on his mare’s left line when the inside lane came clear, and Dont Think Twice A out-footed Baron Remy by a half length for trainer Andrew Harris and the ownership of Michael Goldberg Racing LLC and A Harris Racing LLC.

Pilgrims Lass enjoyed the drop from stakes company and recorded her first win of the season in a $15,000 co-featured trot. The Muscle Mass filly, trained by Scott Andrews for owner Edward Andrews, made the early lead for Matt Kakaley, yielded at the quarter to sit the pocket behind Bag O Chips, then came out in the stretch to prevail by three-quarters of a length in a lifetime best of 1:55.3.
