Columbus, OH — Have you ever wanted to own a racehorse? It’s easier than you might think, and the USTA and Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack can help you learn how.

Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack, in conjunction with the USTA and Hanover Shoe Farms, will host a New Owners Seminar on Sunday, October 7, for anyone considering the first-time purchase of a Standardbred. Topics will include the costs, risks and rewards of harness racing as well as how to select a trainer and the horse for you.

The FREE program begins at 10:00 a.m. Pre-registration is required.

Participants will receive a one-year subscription to Hoof Beats magazine and a $25 credit for the USTA’s online database, PATHWAY. A light lunch will also be served at the conclusion of the seminar. Post time is 12:45 p.m.
